    The K800i is a heavily revamped version of the K750i. The heart of this phone is a 3.2 mega-pixel digital camera with Xenon flash and a particular technology called "BestPic™". Due to these it's the first phone that sports Sony Ericsson's "Cyber-shot" trademark. The audio and video playing features aren't neglected either.

    Let's see a breakdown of its major features:

    • 320 × 240 pixel 262K color screen.

    • 3.2 mega-pixel camera with auto focus, Xenon flash and 16x digital zoom;

    • Music media player with equalizer (MP3, AAC/AAC+/eAAC+, WMA support);

    • Video player supporting 3GP, 3GPP, 3GP2, and MPEG-4 formats.

    • FM Stereo Radio RDS;

    • Connectivity: CSD, HSCSD, GPRS, W-CDMA, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, IrDA, USB.

    • 3G support with video calls.

    • 72-voice polyphony.

    • Messaging: SMS, MMS, E-Mail, Instant Messaging;

    • Other: Organizer, T9, Java, high quality image viewer, voice memo, video streaming, and powerful alarm feature (up to 5 simultaneous alarm setups.)

    • Other: Vibrating alert, VideoDJ™, PhotoDJ™, Wallpaper animation, speaker;

    • General Features: UMTS 2100, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900.

    • Size: 47x106x20 mm;

    • Weight: 115g.

    That being said, we're inviting you on the journey of testing the performance of this phone. In the next chapter you'll read our opinions as we run several tests.
