    Sony Ericsson K800i - Inside the Box

    (Page 2 of 5 )

    The moment of truth just arrived: we're opening up the package of the K800i. It's neat packaging is also quite aesthetic. Check out the following attached photos.

    (The sales package)

    (Contents of the package)

    Let's enumerate the contents of the sales package you've just seen in the photos:

    • 1x Sony Ericsson K800i cellular phone itself;

    • 1x Stereo earphones/headset/hands-free kit (<HPM-62>);

    • 1x 950mAh Lithium-ion Polymer (LiPo) battery called BST-33;

    • 1x Travel AC Charger (100-240V) called CST-75;

    • 1x USB data cable;

    • 1x User Guide and 1x Quick Start Guide;

    • 1x PC Software Package CD;

    • 1x SAR Information.

    Now we've unsealed the package and taken out the extravagantly stylish James Bond's agent 007 K800i phone. (This phone was used by the actor Daniel Craig in the role of James Bond in "Casino Royale" in 2006). Check out the following photos.

    (Neither the above wallpaper nor Avril Lavigne is shipped by default).

    Before we move on to the features, let's talk about its design and aesthetics. Its design is really sleek and stylish. It's built from a great material; it won't slide out of your hands. The protective lens cover is useful. You may slide it when you're taking out the cell from your pocket but still, it just slides and shifts so smoothly it's a pleasure playing around. It also feels good knowing that a 3.2 MP camera hides beneath it.

    A few extra buttons enhance its practicality: 2 volume keys (+ and -) and a stop/play that starts and stops your media player. The joystick is situated a little bit higher than the rest of the keys; due to this, pressing it by mistake while it's in your pocket wont cause the phone to come out of standby. The number keypad's material is rubber while the rest of the keys, including the joystick, are of plastic.

    The screen is pretty large and offers razor sharp quality and fantastic color mixture. Surprisingly you can see it even in very intense sunlight. Once the phone is turned on, the mirroring and glaring effects are factors of the past with the K800i.

    Overall, using this phone feels damn great. There's no doubt of that!
