Sharp Wizard OZ-590 Review - Of Calendars and Phonebooks
(Page 5 of 6 )
Well I'm not going to show you a picture of every screen and application this thing has to offer because frankly, a lot of them look very similar. Here are some of the more commonly used ones, however:

This same basic calendar is used for setting up anything that has to do with a certain date (i.e., anniversary, to do, schedule, expenses, etc.). Speaking of expenses, this is sort of aimed at the business person who has to keep track of what they spend on the company account. However, I feel that anyone who is on a trip and just trying to record the dough they spend on things can use this. It allows you to not only record the date and the amount spent but also the method (cash, credit, check, other), what category it falls under (meals, tips, hotel, etc.), and even a description if necessary.

Then we have the basic calculator which has all the functions of your basic everyday calculator (wow, what a surprise eh?), no special scientific functions here though.

Another function that I have already started to use is the "to do" list, which allows you to set the date and the priority of the thing you have to do, as well as letting you look at just the things that have to be done, the things that have already been done, or everything.

Now on to what I thought was one of the best features of the Wizard®: the Phonebook. Whippee! Well you might think it sounds lame, but I'm being serious. It's less of a phone book and more of a rolodex. As you can see in the picture below, it allows you to put in just about every piece of info you might have on a person: last name, first name, name of company, home phone, work phone, fax number, cell number, pager number, address, email, and even a short note (like whether or not you like them, just in case you forgot).
