Samsung Rogue SCH-U960 Cell Phone from Verizon Wireless

If you are a Verizon customer or contract-free and looking for a messaging phone loaded with features, then check out the Samsung Rogue SCH-U960 from Verizon Wireless. The Rogue combines a physical full QWERTY keyboard with a touch-screen display that makes it the best of both worlds and perfect for messaging.

There are features galore on the Rogue, such as GPS, a camera, and a full HTML browser, just to name a few. Not only are the features great, but you get to enjoy them on a large display that delivers brilliant graphics and color. Add in good performance as well, and you have a phone that is good on every end of the cell phone spectrum of satisfaction.

Best of all, the Rogue is affordable as well, although, as with most other phones, you will have to pay extra for the special services and subscriptions you may desire. For all its features and great design, you only have to pay $99.99 after rebates and a two-year contract plus a data plan with Verizon.

Let’s begin by taking a look at the features, of which plenty exist. Since it’s a messaging phone, why not hit that area first? With the Rogue, you get an array of email options. You can use mobile email, which will condense and send all of your email from popular services like Yahoo, Hotmail, and AOL right to your inbox on the Rogue for $5 per month. If you choose mobile Web email, you can use the phone’s browser to connect to any of the popular email services’ inboxes directly.

For the business types, corporate email allows you to sync the Rogue to your work email, calendar, and contacts using the RemoSync service for $9.99 per month. This fee may be annoying, but if your work is your life, then it’s a small price to pay to stay connected when away from the office.

For instant messaging fans, there is mobile IM, which allows you to use popular messaging clients like AIM, Yahoo Instant Messenger, and Windows Live Messenger on the Rogue. Of course you can always use the standard text or multimedia messaging as well to keep in contact with others. Visual voice mail is another option, although you will have to pay a fee of $3 per month for that service.
