    Samsung Reclaim SPH-M560 - Design

When it comes to the design of the Samsung Reclaim, a good word to describe it is unique, thanks mostly to its color choices. Its Earth green edition definitely stands out from most other cell phones and makes its environmental tendencies obvious. For those who do not like green, a blue edition is available as well.

Despite being made from eco-friendly biodegradable materials, the phone feels very solid and well built. It weighs in at 3.5 ounces, measures 3.9 inches by 2.37 inches by 0.59 inch and fits easily into your pocket. The front of the phone is dominated by its 2.6 inch screen with 320x240 resolution, which displays 262,000 colors. The screen will not wow you as would the screens of some smartphones on the market today, but it is definitely functional.

Below the screen lie its navigational and functional buttons, which are a good size and work well to the touch. The Reclaim is a slider phone, and once you slide the display upwards the full QWERTY keyboard is revealed. The keys are a good size and make typing and texting a non-daunting task.

The overall performance of the Samsung Reclaim is satisfactory. Call quality is good with decent volume and little interference both on regular calls and while using the speakerphone. Browsing the Internet can be a bit slow at times, and the same thing goes for downloads.

Watching video on the Reclaim is acceptable as is listening to music, although its always better to use a headset while listening to audio on a cell phone. The quality of the photos taken with the 2 megapixel camera is also not bad considering it is a phone first and foremost.

If you are a person who cares deeply about the environment and does whatever you can to help save it, you may want to consider the Samsung Reclaim SPH-M560. It does a nice job of portraying an eco-friendly image through its design, eco apps, and construction. The features are pretty good, too, considering its affordable price, and its satisfactory performance make it worthy of a look when shopping for a new cell phone.
