Samsung Intensity SCH-U450 for Verizon Wireless - Music

If the downloadable games, messaging, and camera are not enough to keep you busy, you can also listen to your favorite music on the Samsung Intensity with its built-in music player. The player itself is nothing out of this world, but you do have the option to create and edit playlists, view album art, and choose different skins for visualization.

If you travel a lot, you can still listen to the music player on the Intensity while in the air by simply choosing its airplane mode; that deactivates the cellular signal, but keeps the phone on. As for getting the musical content onto the Intensity, you can either sync the phone to your computer's library, or get music from Verizon's V Cast Music service and Rhapsody.

Unfortunately, you cannot download these songs while on the go directly to the phone because it lacks the high speed download capabilities necessary for such action to occur. Instead, you will have to download the songs from the services onto your computer, and then sync them over.

It's unfortunate that you cannot get the songs directly to your phone via download, but at least you do get the option to play music. It should be noted that for the best performance and audio playback, you should use headphones, as the speakers on the Intensity are too weak to really put out great sound.
