Rolling Lite Laptop Carrier - On the outside

The Pacific Design Rolling Lite is obviously the product of good research.  For starters, the zippers are self healing, and have large, solid pulls.  The two zippers over the main compartment (where your notebook goes) have inter-joining loops, to allow a luggage lock to lock them together.

As you can also see in the picture above, the handle at the top of the bag is quite thick.  It is thickly cushioned with a gel-like material, which makes holding it for extended periods of time quite comfortable.

The case has a total of six zippered pockets for storing your items.  There is a seventh zippered pocket, but it contains the telescopic handle, and is not recommended for any type of storage.

This case sports a single light-weight telescopic handle, which disappears completely inside the case. Here are a couple pics.

The handle was both comfortable and sturdy to use.  I filled the bag with my notebook and other miscellaneous supplies, and it still felt nice and secure.  I would not, however, recommend using this handle to lift or carry the bag when it is full.

In addition, there are numerous plastic curb-guards, to keep the bag from being scuffed when rolling up curbs.  And instead of using lame plastic wheels on the bottom, Pacific Designs decided to implement actual inline skate wheels.  These wheels are not only practical, but they allow the bag to roll freely and easily on concrete, wood, carpet, etc.

Finally, the Rolling Lite has been designed to meet the requirements of all airline’s carry-on requirements.  All of this, plus its aesthetically pleasing.  Where was this when I needed it?
