    RIM BlackBerry Curve 8320

A lot has changed since 1997, when the Blackberry first made its appearance. Back then, the phone was clunky, plain and somewhat cumbersome to use. However, as smart phone technology improved, the Blackberry was able to get a makeover. An example of this can be seen in the most recent additions to the Blackberry line: the BlackBerry 8800 and the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8320.

    Introduction

The BlackBerry 8800 is AT&T version of the smart phone, while the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8320 is geared for the T-Mobile Market. Of course, for new cell phone users, having two phones makes the decision-making process more difficult. Should they go with AT&T to take advantage of the BlackBerry 8800, or should they go with T-Mobile to have access to the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8320?

Well, if the phones are the only factor, they need to go with T-Mobile, since the BlackBerry 8320 has a much better design than the BlackBerry 8800. Not only does it look better, but it also has a sleeker interface. In addition, the BlackBerry 8320 has a built-in camera. The BlackBerry 8800 lacks this feature because it is targeted to the business market. But the other phone is geared for virtually any type of user.

The BlackBerry 8320 is also cheaper than the 8800. Assuming one signs up for a two-year contract with T-Mobile, the phone costs $249.99. On the other hand, AT&T charges $299.99 for the same arrangement, an amount that is not very reasonable considering what the BlackBerry 8800 lacks. Indeed, if you're going to spend that kind of money, and you are an average user, you're going to want a camera... a feature that is common even on $50 phones. The BlackBerry 8800 can't even provide that!

So, obviously, the BlackBerry 8320 will definitely be a better buy in comparison to the BlackBerry 8800. However, is it the best buy? This article will attempt to answer this question by thoroughly analyzing various aspects of the phone. And this process will start by delving into the basics of what comes with the phone.
