OtterBox for iPod Video - How about a test?
Well, it's in the case, it's now safe from dust, dirt, water, and most low-caliber BB guns. I guess the first thing to do is make sure it works. I mean, why have such a cool case if you can't use what's inside it?

So yeah, the first thing I do is try the clickwheel. Honestly, I was surprised at how responsive it is through the membrane. I had no problem adjusting the volume, or tracking through a song that was playing. But how about video?

Not a problem, I was able to easily watch part of an episode of LOST through the OtterBox case. The colors were crisp, and there was surprisingly little glare.
But come now, this case is supposed to protect your iPod from dirt, dust, and water. So how about a real test? To be honest, the prospect of putting my iPod under water scares me. I mean, I paid good money for this thing, ya know? So, to quell my concerns, I decided to do a test-run first, sans iPod.

Here's a picture of the case after I had submerged it in water. I was sure when I opened it, I would see where water had leaked in from some small gap.

Nope! Contrary to my concerns, there was not a drop of water inside the OtterBox. So I decided to put my iPod back inside.

This clip on the bottom of the case is how you lock the case down nice and tight. I fastened this clip snugly, since I was about to go daring to the level of Evel Knievel.
