Nokia N95 - Digital Camera and Media Player
(Page 3 of 4 )
The Nokia N95 is not short in the features department. Honestly, I could write a whole review of the features alone. Because there are so many features available in the N95, I will only touch on the key features. I will only scratch the surface, though, of the capabilities of this device. I will take a look at the digital camera feature, the music player, web browsing, and the GPS feature.
The digital camera feature is probably one of the best quality cameras that I have ever seen on a phone. As a matter of fact, I would say that this camera could replace many point-and-shoot cameras on the market today. The camera features a 5 megapixel sensor with a nice Carl Zeiss lens with flash. The camera feature is accessible by the flip of a switch above the lens.
The N95 gives the user a ton of editing options, and you can also adjust settings, such as the white balance, ISO, brightness, red-eye, etc. There is even a self-timer built in. The camera is basically on par with many point-and-shoot cameras (mostly models from a few years back--which most of us have) in terms of photo quality and editing capabilities. This camera will also take VGA resolution video (640 x 480) at 30 frames per second. Not bad for a camera phone! You can view photos or video on a standard TV with the included video cable.

The music player is accessed by sliding the phone and revealing the media player controls. The music sounds good through the two stereo speakers located on both sides of the device. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone jack for using headphones.
The media player interface organizes music based on artist, genre, composer, etc.--making it very simple to find the music for which you're looking. You can also display thumbnail images of the album covers while you listen. The N95 also allows you to multi-task when listening to music, as you can play games or browse the Internet while listening to your favorite music. There is also an integrated FM tuner in the N95, which is integrated into the included ear buds.
