Nokia 7705 Twist for Verizon
There’s a newcomer to the cell phone market that is perfect for those who enjoy something unique. That phone is the Nokia 7705 Twist for Verizon Wireless. Keep reading for a closer look.
The Twist is perfectly square in its shape and may not even look like a cell phone to many in its closed state. What makes it even more unusual is that it swivels open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for typing and messaging. Now, this is a design that you will most likely either love or hate, as there is little middle ground when it comes to its looks.
While the design provides a nice novelty, it does have some shortcomings that make it inconvenient to use at times, and one might question its long term durability as well. The 7705 Twist does have a nice feature set, however, although some of those features are diminished due to its small display.
Basically, this phone is a battle of style versus substance, so you will have to determine if it is worth it in the long run. The Nokia 7705 Twist is fairly affordable and now available for $99.99 after rebates with a two-year service contract from Verizon.
The basic features on the Nokia 7705 Twist include a speakerphone, vibrate mode, voice dialing, a stopwatch, an alarm clock, and both a standard and tip calculator. To keep you organized there is a calendar and a notepad. Globetrotters will appreciate the world clock, the unit converter, and the currency converter that come on the Twist.
