    Nokia 5310 Xpress Music Phone

T-Mobile became the first carrier in the US to add the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phone to its cellular phone line-up at the end of May 2008, almost a year after Nokia unveiled it. The Xpress Music phone from Nokia is more compact than its predecessor, the 5300, and comes in sleek and alluring designs sure to turn heads and make others say “Hey, can I check out your phone?” Keep reading to find out if it's more than just a pretty phone.

Its slick design and good performance make the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phone a definite pick up for those looking to combine music listening and phone capabilities into one piece of hardware. The 5310 Xpress Music phone can currently be purchased for $49 with a two year service contract or $199.99 without.

Nokia hit a home run when it comes to the design of the 5310 Xpress Music phone. It is one of the thinnest cell phones on the market; it measures 4.1 inches by 1.8 inches by 0.41 inch. Were it not for the Nokia name on the phones, you would not even know the 5310 was sprung from the same line as its predecessors, the 5300 and 5700, as it is so slim and trim.

The 5310 weighs in at just three ounces, but don't let its appearance fool you. Although light and compact, the 5310 definitely fits well in your hands and feels solidly built and durable. The 5310 Xpress Music phone definitely does not follow the mantra of "bigger is better."

Nokia has given its consumers a nice selection of colors to choose from as well, as the 5310 can be purchased in combinations of red and black, blue and black, orange and black, and purple and black. Needless to say, the combination of bright, eye catching colors and the sleek and compact design of the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music phone make it one very attractive cellular phone.
