Both phones won’t kill your pockets, but should provide enough features to keep you satisfied.
Nokia 5130 XpressMusic for T-Mobile
Those who love music and are in need of an affordable phone will enjoy the Nokia 5130 Xpress Music for T-Mobile. Priced at only $29.99 after rebates and a two-year service contract, the 5130 gives users a decent feature set centered heavily on music at a low price.
Since music is the Nokia 5130’s main focus, let's discuss those features first. The music player on the Nokia 5130 XpressMusic supports various popular audio formats and allows you to create and edit playlists, listen using shuffle and repeat modes, and gives you access to an equalizer. Album art is included as well.
You can transfer music to the 5130 from your computer via a microSD card or USB. You can also sync the phone to your computer for easy drag-and-drop transferring of files. Of course, you can also download more songs to the phone and even use tracks as ringtones.
If you are using other applications on the phone you can still listen to music in the background without interruption. There is also an airplane mode that shuts off the cellular signal to allow you to listen to music while flying without interfering with the plane’s electronic equipment.
If you get tired of listening to music and want more entertainment, the 5130 comes shipped with five game demos, including Bejeweled, Midnight Pool, and more, with the option to download full versions of games as well.
