Nokia 330 Auto Navigation Review - Design and Cosmetics

The design of the 330 is very stylish and compact, with a black and silver casing that feels pretty sturdy and durable. The size of the 330 make it easy to move from car to car, and it is lightweight enough to carry around with ease.  The overall dimensions of the unit are 3.2 x 4.2 x 1.2 inches, and it weighs in at 7.2 ounces.

The front of the 330 sports the 3.5 inch LCD touch-screen; this is a good size. The resolution of the touch-screen is 320 x 240 pixels, which gives it relatively high resolution. The screen is also very colorful, and performs well in both brightly lit and dim conditions. A nice feature of this Nokia is the ability for the user to switch between day and night settings on the screen to adjust the brightness for the best results. To the right side of the LCD screen you will find the only button controls on the unit.  These buttons give the user easy access to the home page, navigation to the screen, standby mode, and volume controls.

On the left side of the unit you will find the SD expansion slot, headphone jack, and USB port.  I like the fact that there is an SD expansion slot on this unit; it gives the user an easy way to load additional maps into the device.

Overall the design of the 330 auto navigation is very solid. The unit is compact and lightweight, so it is very portable. The screen is colorful, and it features nice looking graphics throughout the menus, which make it easy to navigate.
