    Motorola i890 for Sprint

The Motorola i890 is a standard flip phone for Sprint subscribers. The phone is not the most high-end communication device on the market, but those seeking simplicity with some added features should enjoy it. The i890 is available for $129.99 after rebates and a two-year contract with Sprint.

If you are looking for a phone loaded with all the features you could possibly think of, the Motorola i890 is not the one for you. It is on the simpler end of the features spectrum when compared to many phones on the market, but it still has enough features to should satisfy most casual phone users.

The basics include a speakerphone, a vibrate mode, conference calling, a calculator, and an alarm clock. Organizational tools include a memo pad and a calendar. There is also a voice recorder that is useful if you need to record any important thoughts that pop into your head from time to time. Travelers or those who deal with overseas client could make use of the phone's unit and currency converter. Financial types can use the integrated loan and interest calculator.

The i890's phone book can hold up to 600 contacts. For each contact you can input several phone numbers, email addresses, and other data. You can also sort contacts into different groups for better organization and allocate a photo and a ringtone to each. If you are not satisfied with the standard ringtones that come with the phone, you can download more from Sprint.
