Introduction
The V950 has what can almost be described as an exoskeleton; a protective outer shell that keeps its precious insides safe. Durability and ease of use seem to have been a key factor in the Renegade’s design. Aside from a clamshell form, the phone also comes equipped with a rubberized grip and an internal antenna. Consumers will find the new Renegade incredibly easy to carry and will take comfort in the fact that its durable construction, which includes an innovative blend of metal and rubber, keeps their phone safe and protected.
Motorola pioneered the push-to-talk feature on cell phones, and it should come as no surprise that the Renegade is the fifth QChat phoneSprint released within a year. Previous models included theSanyo Pro 200, theSanyo Pro 700, theSamsung Z400and lastly theLG LX400. The rugged exterior of the Renegade encases mobile communication features that offer users both excellent communication options and reliability.
The V950 combines the efficiency of push-to-talk with the data speeds of the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network, and the whole package is made even more appealing with enhanced audio via dual front-ported speakers, highlighted PTT button and direct-access external keys. Communicating with all American users of the Nextel Direct Connect services literally only requires the touch of a button on the Renegade V950.Motorola’s new modelis a bit pricey at $329, but if you purchase the phone with service it can be as low as $129.
