    Mobile App Review: CrunchFu

One of the best ways to get a quick workout at home is by doing crunches. A lot of people who have flat abs do crunches on a consistent basis. Doing crunches is not something a lot of people look forward to doing. If you haven’t been exercising for a while. you may need some extra motivation to get going. Thanks to CrunchFu, you can get that extra boost in motivation and even challenge others to battle. This app turns doing crunches almost into a game and helps you become more fit in the process.

CrunchFu can track your motion and motivate you to do more crunches over time (if you follow your training). All you have to do is hold your iPhone next to your chest. The nice thing about this app is that it helps you improve your stats and push yourself to the next level. You get points for doing crunches and winning battles.

You do want to make sure you follow the instructions in this app to let the app keep track of your movement properly. Don’t forget to keep your iPhone’s head towards your feet.

CrunchFu adds a whole a new dimension to doing crunches at home. It can not only keep track of the number of crunches you perform and your form, but it also helps you push yourself to the top your league (and of course become more healthy in the process). The app runs you through 10 stages. By the time you reach the finale, you should be feeling much better (if you have been following the instructions and done the training).

All in all, CrunchFu is another example of how app developers can take a simple idea and innovate to build a killer product. It’s very easy to use and makes doing crunches a whole lot of fun. The developers behind this app have a few other apps that can help you work on other areas of your body. It would have been nice if there was a way to customize stages and get a little bit crazy with all these exercises (or challenge others to a custom battle). Nevertheless, CrunchFu is a very fun app to play with. Doing all those challenges can be very addictive.
