Mio Moov 310 Review - Design
The Mio Moov 310 is only 0.7 inches thick, making it almost as slender as its competitors. The product also doesn't weigh very much, only 6.1 ounces. This means you won't have to worry about lugging around something heavy if you decide you want to take the Mio Moov 310 out of your car.

As far as visibility, the Mio Moov 310 displays everything on a 4.3-inch screen. This is another feature that is common on more expensive GPS systems. It's small enough to maintain portability, but large enough to allow for a generous view. The only downside is that sometimes there is a glare if direct sunlight shines on it. However, this a problem that is common to many portable electronics, even if they are very pricey.
In terms of controls, the only physical button is the On/Off switch. This is located at the topmost portion of the Mio Moov 310. Additional buttons are not needed because the system works entirely through a touch screen. The only exception is if you want to connect the device to your PC. If you do this, your PC's hardware could control what's going on. However, since the Mio Moov 310 does not have Bluetooth, you will have to use the USB cable to establish such a connection. Fortunately, there's a mini-USB port on the bottom of the system.
When it comes to appearance, the Mio Moov 310 is pretty standard. It comes in a basic black color with an aluminum outline. Additionally, the casing has a plastic-like feel, which may be a turnoff to some users. There's also the issue of the antenna. Even though it doesn't make the system itself look bad, its wiring does take up space on your windshield. Of course, keep in mind that this is more of an aesthetics problem. You won't have to worry about the wires affecting your visibility when it comes to driving.
Along that vein, it should also be noted that the car mount is very efficient at securely holding the Mio Moov 310. This is very important, since cheaper mounts have a tendency to fall off. Not only is this annoying, but it could be dangerous. It's one thing if the mount falls off when one is not driving... but if one is on the road, such a phenomenon could be very distracting. With the 310's charger, you don't have to worry about these types of things happening.
