MP3 Players Under $50 - Getting an MP3 Player on a Budget
(Page 2 of 4 )
Well, if I have not sold you on the idea of an MP3 player yet, then you probably were not going to buy one anyway. That being said, I know that you have a budget. The odds are good that you do not have a spare $300 just lying around your house as discretionary income, waiting for you to go and spend the next splurge.
Times are tough, but even when they are not, getting a cool new gadget is just not always on the priority list. After all, you have bills to pay, mouths to feed and lots of other actual needs, like your car’s new transmission, to contend with before you even think about buying some new toys.
The only thing that I can say to you about this is that you don’t have to spend $300 to get a quality MP3 player. You don’t even have to spend $100. I live in the real world, just like you, and I understand setting priorities with your money.
I strike a balance between the need for fiscal responsibility and the desire for instant gratification, so we are going to establish a cut off, and we simply won’t talk about any MP3 player that has a price tag over that cut off. In order to make things simple, we are going to go with a nice round number and set the cut off mark at $50.
Don’t worry; although there will be some models that slide in at around that line, there will also be plenty that are well below the line, just in case you didn’t want to spend $50. After all, no two budgets are identical; we all have different needs and different priorities.
In addition, don’t think that just because these MP3 players are inexpensive, you would be buying a less- than-quality machine. There are many fine digital music players on the market that are made by companies besides the purveyors of the two most popular brands, Apple with its family of iPods, and Microsoft with the Zune. Though you may find yourself surprised at what is on the list.
