    LG enV Touch - Design

Perhaps even more impressive than the LG enV Touch's features is its design. It is a solidly-built phone that manages to exude a sleek and modern vibe. The Touch measures 4.52 inches long by 2.16 inches wide by 0.66 inches thick. The front of the Touch is covered mostly by its spacious three-inch diagonal large touch screen display. The display is excellent, to say the least, and produces vibrant images.

The only other occupants on the front of the Touch are three buttons for send, clear, and the power/end button. The touch screen interface works well, although it does take some getting used to. You can use the touch screen to dial or text if you choose to not open up the phone to access its internal QWERTY keyboard.

When opened, the Touch reveals a nice three-inch internal display that matches the excellence of its front touch screen display. The internal full QWERTY is spacious and easy to use thanks to its raised keys that are sensitive to the touch and great for quick messaging.

In terms of performance, the LG enV Touch receives a passing grade. Call quality is clear and matches that of a landline, with minimal interference or outside noise. The speakerphone is sufficiently loud as well, unlike other cellular phones. The battery is acceptable as well with, per the manufacturer's word, 4.3 hours of talk time and 17 hours of standby time.

Audiophiles will definitely want to use headphones to listen to their music on the Touch, as its speakers can only provide so much quality when listening to music on the phone. The audio quality is surpassed by the Touch's video quality, which is quite pleasant for viewing videos, considering it is a cellular phone. Web browsing is painless thanks to the EV-DO Rev. A. The aforementioned 3.2 megapixel camera is above average in performance as well, with good picture quality.

If you are a Verizon user and looking to upgrade your cellular phone, the LG enV Touch deserves a serious look. Its excellent design and loads of features should cover almost all of your needs. Lack of Wi-Fi capability is a disappointment, but the long list of features help overcome its absence.
