If you are big on customizing your cellular phone, the Touch is made for you. You can change the phone's wallpaper and themes to your liking. If the defaults available on the phone do not tickle your fancy, you can go online to purchase from a wide variety of available themes and wallpapers on Verizon's online store.

Those who like to play games from time to time on their phones while slacking off at work or in class will be glad to know that the Touch comes equipped with Tetris, Need for Speed Undercover, and Resident Evil: Degeneration. If those aren't enough to keep you occupied, you can once again go to Verizon's online store to download more titles.

Perhaps the foremost reason for having a cellular phone with a full QWERTY keyboard for many is for messaging ease. The Touch comes with three separate options for e-mail. Business types can use mobile corporate e-mail from RemoSync, that allows you to sync your work e-mail and calendar, for a fee of $9.99 per month. The second option, mobile e-mail, allows you to receive email from various providers such as Yahoo, AOL, and Windows Live to your inbox on the Touch for $5 per month.

The final option is mobile web e-mail, which uses the web browser and gives you a shortcut to the various e-mail services online, such as Yahoo and Windows Live. Instant messaging also comes on the enV Touch via the mobile instant messenger that allows you to use AIM, Yahoo, and Windows Live.

For those that suffer Internet withdrawal, the LG enV Touch comes equipped with a full HTML web browser and EV-DO Rev. A to surf the net while on the run. Unfortunately, the Touch is not equipped with Wi-Fi. You can browse the web just as if you were at home on your PC. The browser has zoom capabilities, full screen mode, allows you to bookmark pages, use the search function, and even browse up to three different pages using tabs.

While online, you can also make use of Verizon's variety of online services to download media. Music lovers can download songs to the Touch using V Cast Music with Rhapsody for $1.99 per song. You can also use V Cast Video to download video clips from networks like CBS.
