    LG enV Touch

Are you in the market for a touch screen cellular phone that is loaded with features? If so, the LG enV Touch might be the right choice for you. Today we take a close look at what it has to offer and how it's different from the rest.

Unlike its predecessors in the enV line of phones from LG, the Touch has a full touch screen interface, similar to that of the manufacturer's Voyager series. The LG enV Touch has pretty much everything you could want in a cellular phone, and lacks only a few things, such as Wi-Fi capability.

Its bevy of features, though, include two separate displays, one of them touch-screen, a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging, an excellent 3.2 megapixel camera, and a full HTML browser for you Internet fiends. This new addition to the Verizon Wireless lineup should make users of the service very happy, and is available for $149.99 if you purchase a two-year service agreement. A $70 mail-in rebate is available to make this fantastic phone even more of a bang for your buck as well.

As noted, the LG enV Touch is jam-packed with features. In terms of basics, they are all there. You can store up to 1,500 separate entries into the Touch's phone book, with up to five phone numbers, a physical address, and two email addresses per contact, although I do not know who would know that many people, unless you're Paris Hilton maybe. To further customize, you can even import photos into the Touch to correspond with numbers as Caller ID, a definitely cool feature to have. You can separate your contacts into different groups as well, similar to many IM systems out there.

There are plenty of ringtones to choose from, up to 26, for those who like to change it up from time to time. You can also adjust alert tones to your liking.

Rounding out the basic features of the Touch are text and e-mail messaging, made easy thanks to the full QWERTY keyboard to be discussed, speakerphone, calendar, world clock, alarm, notepad, and stopwatch. Those with artistic capabilities will be pleased to know that the Touch comes complete with a drawing pad with which to make sketches, using the touch screen interface. The messaging capabilities even allow you to send your newly-made artwork to your friends when you are finished.
