    LG Dare Cell Phone

Since Apple led the way when it came to touch screen cell phones, many other companies followed. The newest touch screen phone from LG, the Dare, dares to take things to another level when it comes to the touch screen cell phone arena. The LG Dare is a touch screen phone loaded with features and even has a few new tricks up its sleeve. Keep reading for a closer look.

With certain goodies, including an excellent 3.2 mega pixel camera, a drawing pad, and drag-and-drop capabilities, just to name a few, the LG Dare does its best to compete in the smart phone market. It does have a few hurdles to overcome, though, if it wants to go toe to toe with the iPhone, as it lacks WiFi and is not on Apple's level when it comes to its web browser or media player.

Those looking for something different from the iPhone, however, should definitely consider purchasing the LG Dare, as it is loaded with so many features and delivers such a quality performance that it should leave none of its buyers disappointed. You can pick up this feature-laden phone for just $199 after a $50 mail-in rebate, with a two-year service agreement.

When it comes to design, the LG Dare is simple yet attractive. The Dare has a black surface bordered in stainless steel. It is not a very large phone in comparison to its competitors, measuring 4.1 inches long by 2.2 inches wide by 0.5 inches thick. The LG Dare weighs in at 3.76 inches, making it nice and light.

Do not let its rather small size fool you; the phone is built solidly and feels good in your hands. Its structure is dominated mostly by its three-inch display, which is appropriate, since it is after all a touch screen phone. The LG Dare's smaller size also results in it having a smaller display -- one inch smaller, in fact, when compared with the iPhone, which could be a negative for would-be buyers. A smaller screen means more scrolling, since less is visible on each page, and this can become understandably tedious and annoying for some people.
