Are you a music lover in need of a new phone? Do you prefer a touch-screen over physical controls? If so, then the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575 for Verizon Wireless should interest you.
Packed with many features, including a top notch music player and a responsive touch-screen, the Chocolate Touch VX8575 is a phone that can satisfy music lovers while providing all the necessary tools expected from a phone in today’s demanding market. You can get the Touch VX8757 for $79.99 with a two-year service agreement from Verizon Wireless.
There are plenty of features to review on the Chocolate Touch, so let’s get the basics out of the way first. The device comes with a speakerphone, a stopwatch, a standard calculator, a tip calculator, a world clock, and an alarm clock. For staying organized, there is a calendar and a note pad. A drawing pad is on board, so you can be artistic using the touch-screen and share your work with your friends via messaging.
You can store up to 1,000 contacts in the Touch’s phone book and input five phone numbers, two email addresses, one physical address, and more for each. You can sort your contacts into separate groups and also allocate a photo and a ringtone to each. There are 21 standard polyphonic ringtones on the Chocolate Touch, but you can download more through Verizon. You can also download wallpapers and themes to customize the phone even further.
Moving further up the ladder in the features department we find stereo Bluetooth with support for profiles such as car kits, hands-free headsets, and file transfer, just to name a few. The VX8575 also supports PC syncing, voice activated dialing, and USB mass storage.
One subscription-based feature that may be useful to some is visual voice mail, which lets you actually see a list of your awaiting messages, so you can delete impertinent ones and skip right to the important ones to save time. The Chocolate Touch also has integrated GPS that can give you detailed voice-guided directions, as well as information on local points of interest using the VZ Navigator service.
