LG CU515 Cell Phone - Design
The outward appearance of the LG CU515 can best be described as "simple," though not necessarily in a negative sense. The CG515 is offered in black or plum and does not feature any kind of adornment or design of note on the outside. What is visible is a less-than-impressive external display and a pinhole for the camera lens.

The external display is one of the bigger weak points of the CU515. It is small and monochrome. As such, there is no picture caller ID and the screen is not very customizable (the only option is brightness).
Once you open up the phone, you are a little more impressed by the main display. At 2", the display is large enough for easy viewing of pretty much anything and not so big as to suck up your battery or make the phone unwieldy. The screen is very bright, which will come in handy if you typically have difficulty with small screens or are going to be watching videos.
The keypad is almost as simple as the external body of the phone. In this case, that is definitely a plus. You should not have any difficulty identifying or navigating any part of the keypad. It is very intuitive and easy to use. The buttons are fairly large and despite being flat, are easy to press, even for those people who have large fingers.
The menus within the phone are, fortunately, about as easy to use as the keypad. There are no fancy features in the menu; it just intuitive and clean. This gives the CU515 a big leg up over many of the modern cell phones that try to pack too many features into too few sections.
Overall, the feeling that you get from the CU515's design is simplicity. Although from an aesthetic point of view this may or may not be what you want, the simple keypad and navigation definitely lend themselves to the overall quality of this phone.
