Is the New iPhone Worth It? - Use the iPhone to Get Un-Lost!
The new iPhone can help you to do just that. Capitalizing on the popularity of devices like Magellan and Tom-Tom, as well as the mobile phone direction capability that you might be used to if you have Verizon's navigator or a similar service, the iPhone has gotten into the game of getting you to where you want to go.
The phone is equipped with GPS (global positioning system) technology that can find the phone, as well as having access to a library of maps. Using the GPS your phone will now be able to give you directions to the location you need to find and follow along with you to make sure you actually go the right way. This is a handy feature, no doubt, if you happen to be late to a meeting or just a lost tourist on the streets of London.
The new iPhones have a lot going for them. The changes to the phones are mostly software based, but that does not mean that they are going to be worth rushing to the store for every user. Maybe you don't need remote access to your email on your phone, or you like your GPS sticking on your windshield, or maybe you don't want your dear little Timmy having a way to cheat on his Algebra exams. If you are an end user who places a premium on having access to your information, however, or you have a genuine need to keep in constant contact with clients and/or the office, then you should give the new iPhone some serious consideration.
You didn't see the feature that you wanted on the new iPhones? Well, your 70 emails requesting that new function may have been answered in a different way. These iPhones all have access to the APP store where you can browse and download spiffy new applications for your iPhone to enhance your experience. It is not that your idea was bad, but maybe not everyone wants to punctuate opening a program with a snippet from a Shakira song.
*There is just one note on the Korean language access to iPhones. While you can set the language to Korean for the interfaces and menus, you can not enable the dictionary for Korean words. Apple has yet to announce when a Korean dictionary will be added.
