Is the New iPhone Worth It?
On the 11th of July a possible new blockbuster, the second generation of the iPhone, was unleashed upon the world. This next generation of the wildly popular collaboration between Apple and the phone giant AT&T grabbed the attention of fans of Mac gadgets everywhere. But does it really the deserve your notice?
There has been a long line of Mac gadgets that have raised consumers' expectations of version two Apple products. The next generation iPods are just one example. These Apple products have helped to garner what may have been a routine upgrade some major attention.
The question on the mind of most of the consumers with their eyes on the iPhone is, "Will it be worth getting the new iPhone right away, or can I afford to hold off for a while?" If you came here in search of an easy answer, you came to the wrong place. Anywhere you get a pat "yes" or "no" should be taken with a grain of salt.
The true answer is "maybe." It really depends on how you use your iPhone, and how relevant those features are to you. Think of it as a sort of informal costs and benefits analysis.
Don't run away on me. I know that the words "costs and benefits analysis" conjure up images of reports the size of a phone book with helpful sub-headings like "Likelihood of occurrence of specific incidents versus number of involvements in litigation in the prior five years (annual estimation -- with graph)," but this won't be like that. It will be more like a fun look at the new features that will come with the new iPhone.
