HTC Touch Pro2 from Sprint - Design
The design of the HTC Touch Pro2 from Sprint is bulky but attractive overall. It weighs 6.3 ounces and measures 4.56 inches tall by 2.33 inches wide by 0.68 inch thick. It will fit in your pocket, but it’s definitely not one of the smallest phones out there.
The exterior color scheme is a mixture of black and charcoal gray. The Pro2 has rounded edges that give its rectangular shape a sleek, modern look. The front of the Pro2 is dominated by its 3.6-inch WVGA touch-screen with 480x800 resolution. In simple terms, the display is superb and excellent for surfing the web and viewing multimedia. You can even tilt the display during use to get the best viewing angle.
A built-in accelerometer automatically switches the display from portrait to landscape mode and vice versa when you adjust the phone’s orientation. The touch-screen is responsive overall, and there is a handy zoom bar that lets you zoom in and out of images seamlessly.

Beneath the display are the navigational controls. Once you open the Pro2, the full QWERTY keyboard is revealed. The keyboard benefits from the phone’s large size, as this allows it to be very spacious and is excellent for easy messaging. Another plus of the Pro2’s design is the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack, which spares you the annoyance of having to get an adapter to use your favorite headphones with the Pro2.
If you have deep pockets and need a smartphone that can do it all both in the United States and abroad, the HTC Touch Pro2 from Sprint is a worthy contender. It has all the major features you would need, albeit at a hefty price.
