HP iPAQ RX3100 - More of What You Get

The battery inside here is 920 mAh, which is user replaceable; that is a thumbs up from me. There are also extendable batteries available to buy. The RX3100 also supports WLAN and Bluetooth wireless connections. Having both of these features is what sold me. It's one of the few mid- to lower-range devices to have both of these.

On the top, we find an SD slot. This is great for music and other storage needs, since the unit has little built-in memory. The great part is that it supports SDIO for things such as Wi-Fi SD cards.

Here are some pictures for size comparison. In these pictures I am comparing it to the LG VX8600. The RX3100 is definitely bigger than the cell phone. Just the screen of the RX3100 is even bigger than the cell phone. When I compared the thickness of the devices, I was really surprised because they are roughly the same size. The PDA is a tiny bit bigger though.

Next is a picture of the device in my hand to see how well it fits in a hand. I would say this is a great design. It comfortably fits in my hand without any kind of awkwardness. It feels well balanced, not too weighed down on any one side. The device has rubber along the sides that help in terms of grip. I felt confident that this device was going nowhere while in my hand.

On the front of the device, below the screen, we have a few buttons. There are four main buttons on the device, and in between them, there's a round button with a center button inside of it. This is mainly for its media features. They are labeled with the traditional skip song forward/backward, volume up and down, and your center button is for play/pause.
