I have had a few problems with my iQue, but nothing I wouldn’t expect out of a first generation product. The first of these problems was with the unit going into power conservation mode, even while plugged into a power source. This was easily fixed by a Palm OS hack I found that allows the disabling of the power saving mode. The second problem came when the unit did a full reset and I was forced to restore it via syncing. Of course, this occurred after I found myself fiddling with some wires under my desk, knocking the power cord in and out of the iQue about ten times, so it wasn’t entirely the unit’s fault.
Upon final review, I have to say that the iQue 3600 is easily the best GPS unit I’ve owned so far. The marriage of GPS to the palmtop computing platform has resulted in lower cost of ownership and increased functionality. All in all, I highly recommend this unit to anyone. I also highly recommend the purchase of an SD card with your iQue to store both MP3s and maps.
