Extending the Blackberry - Mobile Enterprise Printing from HP

The HP Mobile Enterprise Printing solution allows you to print e-mails and e-mail attachments on printers located on your business network or intranet. The HP

solution supports common e-mail attachment formats such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe PDF, and JPEG. Learn more at http://www.hp.com.

    ActiveNet Conversion Companion

The ActiveNet Conversion Companion gives you more solutions for managing e-mail attachments on the BlackBerry. With this software, you can wirelessly view, fax, or print attachments, search enterprise address books for contact information, and download URL contents. Over 40 common document formats are supported, including Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, WordPerfect, fax (TIF, DCX), ZIP, and web pages. You can learn more about the software and also find additional products for the BlackBerry at http://www.infoclarus.com.

    Itrezzo Integrated Messaging

The itrezzoAgent Enterprise Server gives BlackBerry users access to the Global Address List in Microsoft Exchange networks or the Notes Address Book. Because newer versions of the BlackBerry Enterprise server can provide this service internally, this software is more beneficial with older BlackBerry systems; however, the software does provide additional functions and features such as opening and printing file attachments and faxing data. You can also find more BlackBerry solutions at Intrezzo.com, shown in Figure 14-18.

    GoFigure Enterprise Solution

GoFigure Enterprise Edition, shown in Figure 14-19, is a solution for sales forces who require mobile access to data. This application, which resides behind the corporate firewall, uses the Java 2 Micro Edition to work with sales, marketing, and even manufacturing data stored in corporate databases. Using GoFigure, you cannot only access database information but also manage it remotely. You can also find more BlackBerry solutions at the website.

    Mobile Enterprise Strategy and Implementation

Artis Consulting provides software and related features that enable you to develop and deploy custom business applications that will work on the BlackBerry. These features, called Mobile Enterprise Strategy and Implementation, allow you to tailor the BlackBerry’s functionality to the needs of your business. Learn more about these products at http://www.artisconsulting.com.
