Delphi NAV300 GPS
It has been a year since Delphi released their NAV200, and this device has been relatively successful. With the release of their newest portable GPS system, the NAV300, Delphi hopes that this model will be even more successful than its predecessor. Keep reading to find out what the future holds for this device.
The NAV300 is a lot like the NAV200, but it does have some new features and upgrades. If you were a big fan of the NAV200, I think that you will like the NAV300 a lot.

The new NAV300 is a very easy to use device, which I think is one of its best qualities. First-time GPS users will love this device. The NAV300 comes equipped with features like Bluetooth capabilities and text-to-speech functionality, both of which were not in the NAV200. The great set of features and easy to use interface make this portable GPS device a strong competitor in a market dominated by companies like Garmin and Magellan. These companies are starting to lose a bit of the market, though, with other manufacturers releasing quality GPS systems for lower prices. This will help to drive portable GPS systems down in price, which will benefit the consumer, and soon these devices will be affordable enough for just about anyone.
Speaking of being affordable, the Delphi NAV300 is relatively inexpensive itself. The manufacturer suggested price is $399, but I have seen prices at online stores of well under $350 for the device.
Delphi offers some nice add-ons as well, such as the RDS-TMC (Radio Data Systems-Traffic Message Channel), which comes in handy because it broadcasts traffic and weather reports so that you can choose the quickest route to your destination based on traffic and weather. Delphi is offering this feature for a one-time payment of $100, and that will get this service for life. If you can afford an extra $100, I think it would be a good idea to get this service.
