Creative Muvo Mix 256MB - Conclusion

    Conclusion

If you have a small music collection and you need a device that willallow you to listen to music and copy files from computer to computer, this is definitely an excellent device. It has very fast data transferrates for those who don't want to wait around for their files to copy. The ease of use and portability make the device extremely simple to useand an excellent way to get a few songs on the trails with you. Theonly problem I have found is that I prefer higher bit rate audio files, which eat available storage and reduce the amount of songs I can takewith me. Of course, larger storage is available on different versionsof the Muvo (128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB).

    Pro

    • Many different models have additional features (voice recording, FM radio)
    • Everything you need to use the player is included
    • With Windows XP, additional drivers are not necessary
    • High bit rate MP3's sound great
    • Price is very affordable, and can be found on sale almost weekly at most stores.

    Con

    • Tracks go in file name order, so if you want your songs in acertain order, better rename them before transferring to the device.
    • Drives cannot be upgraded with additional memory
    • Headphones feel a little uncomfortable
    • Music Quality depends highly on MP3 Compression.
    • You may not be able to save 128 songs

I would like to thank everyone for reading our review of theCreative Muvo Mix MP3 player. If you're looking for a great MP3 playerthat's ultra portable, you should definitely consider Creative's lineof MP3 players. They have everything from the ultra tiny Muvo all theway up to the massive 30GB Zen Vision for watching your videos on thego. Creative is the way to go.

I hope everyone sticks around for our next reviews, and if you'vegot some time to kill, or looking for some computing questions or liketo give advice and help others out, join our forums.
