    Cowon D2 4 GB MP3 Player Review - Features

I have already mentioned two of the player's best features which are the touch-screen and the SD expansion card slot.

Another great feature of this player is its ability to play back a wide variety of formats. It has the ability to play MP3, Ogg, WAV, FLAC, and WMA. Many players nowadays do not play a wide variety of formats, but this player does; it even plays subscription songs. Music playback is fully adjustable with the integrated equalizer which offers six different settings. One of the settings on the EQ is user-defined if you don't like any of the factory EQ settings. The D2 also has a BBE sound effect option which allows you to add enhanced bass, 3D surround sound, or stereo enhance to your music for a better listening experience.

The D2 does more than just play music. This is a very good video player which supports WMV, DiVX, and AVI. There is also a cool feature which allows the user to plug their D2 into a TV and view images or movies through the TV. In order for this feature to work, you would need to purchase an additional TV chord which is less than $10. The supported format for photos is JPEG. The D2 also has a built-in text viewer that supports TXT files, and you can view text files up to 2 MB. Additional features include an integrated FM tuner with unlimited presets, and even a built-in microphone which records sound in the WMA format.

The Cowon D2 comes equipped with all of the following items straight from the box:

            Stylus
            Earphones
            USB Cable
            AC Adapter
            Installation CD
            User Manual
            1-Year Limited Warranty

As I mentioned earlier, there is an SD expansion slot in this player, and I highly recommend taking advantage of this feature. SD cards are relatively inexpensive, and will allow more songs, video clips, or photos to be stored in your player.
