Bluetake i-PHONO Plus BT420Rx-C Bluetooth Headset - Wrapping up

The final thing I need to touch on with these headphones is how long they will play on each charge.  The specs indicate they should play for about 7 hours between recharges.  I would have to agree on that estimate, since I ran them dry several times, and each and every time were right before or right after 7 hours.  I’m sure if I ran them at a really high volume the whole time, they would die a lot sooner.

So there you have it.  These headphones are perfect for someone who would like to listen to CD-quality music during their work day but doesn't want the entanglement of wires.  Overall, I would give these headphones a rating of 7 out of 10.  A more sturdy frame and some easier controls could have pushed this score a little higher for me.  Here are the pros and cons breakdown, as I see them.

    Pros:

    • Excellent sound quality
    • Comfortable behind-the-neck design
    • Good reception
    • 7 hour playing time
    • Dual charger for both devices
    • Switching between music and a phone call was simple

    Cons:

    • Somewhat tricky to pair the first time, but easy after that
    • Undocumented volume procedure took a few minutes to figure out
    • Frame could be sturdier
