    Junkies probably know Belkin for their Nostromo Speed Pad first and their line of networking equipment second. Me, I’m off the beaten path a little, and I’m taking a look at Belkin’s Bluetooth adapters. Hopefully this article will appeal to those who are running multiple systems, laptops, and PDA’s, and want to exchange information, share network access and a host of other services easily and wirelessly.


    Packaging and Specifications

    In each box, you will find the Bluetooth adapter, driver CD, Quick Start guide, and a more detailed Installation guide. Here lies the first issue I had with the adapters. The guides, while having good installation information, were very light on the actual setup, and usage of the services. More on that later…

    Here are the ‘money shots’ of the products.

    USB Adapter 

    Specifications

    The Bluetooth USB Adapter adds Bluetooth technology to your existing USB PC or notebook to let it work with all devices enabled with Bluetooth v1.1 technology. Wirelessly print, synchronize your PDA information, and create dial-up connections through a mobile phone. From up to 100 meters away you can effortlessly transfer data to other Bluetooth devices such as desktop or notebook computers, PDAs, scanners, printers, and even mobile phones-wirelessly. Connect with up to seven other Bluetooth devices at a time.
