    ATandT LG Incite Cell Phone

Smart phones mean we no longer have to carry around two devices, one for making phone calls and one for mobile computing. The AT&T LG Incite lets you multitask without breaking your budget. But can a relatively inexpensive device really deliver the goods? Keep reading to find out.Introduction

Before smart phone technology was introduced, PDAs had to be used if people needed computing power on-the-go. However, since the majority of PDAs do not offer cell phone plans, users had to pay separate fees to establish a Wi-Fi connection. In addition, they still needed their regular cell phone in the event anyone tried to call. Consequently, they had to lug around two devices.

Smart phone technology revolutionized this process by transforming cell phones into PDAs. Now, you can use your cell phone to surf the Web, write Word documents and even play media files. And not once will you have to connect your phone to a laptop or a PDA, as it is already integrated with the technology.

Yet, despite the allure of smart phone technology, some manufacturers neglected to take immediate advantage of its potential. An example can be seen with LG’s cell phone line. They made several models over the years for the U.S. market, yet it wasn’t until November 2008 that they released an LG smart phone for American consumers (as previous LG smart phones were distributed abroad). The name of this groundbreaking phone was the LG Incite, and its carrier was AT&T.

With AT&T’s LG Incite, cell phone users possess the power of Windows Mobile 6.1… software that is not always integrated into today’s smart phones (even if they are high-end). Also, assuming a person signs a two-year contract with AT&T, they can get the Incite for only $199. Other smart phones may charge more, yet fail to deliver Windows Mobile. And this is important, since Windows Mobile helps give smart phones more advanced PDA features.

However, even though the LG Incite is only $199 (or $499 without an AT&T plan), you still want to make sure that all of its other features match up before making a purchasing decision. So, pay attention to the sections below and decide for yourself if the LG Incite is worth the buzz.
