Wintec AmpX PC2 5400 Review - Pros and Cons

    Pros

    • Excellent performance considering bottlenecked results
    • Capable of running low latencies at high FSB
    • 1GB for less than $200
    • Includes black aluminum heatspreaders
    • Lifetime warrantee

    Cons

    • Sold in few online stores
    • 1GB kit is still unavailable
    • Current motherboards can only provide DDR533 results without overclocking the processor to 266 Mhz

    Conclusion

If you are looking for some cheap low latency DDR2 modules that perform on a par with most other high end DDR2 modules, look no further than Wintec's AmpX series of memory. They provide an excellent bang for the buck and are certainly an excellent choice for any overclockers that are on a budget.
