GeIL is a new company to the US market. They use their chips and design their own PCB, pretty cool. They do tend to require more voltage than other memory modules but so far the performance has been great. I should add for peeps out there concerned about using extra voltage with the GeIL chips that I have been running their PC3500 for two months now at 2.8v with no problems. I obviously had a hard time get quality pictures of the GeIL memory. The Copper Heat Spreader and the acrylic case keep throwing it off. I really like the care GeIL puts into package in their RAM. It comes in an airtight, anti-static bad enclosed in an acrylic case surrounded by closed cell foam.

Xtreme DDR is another new company out there but does come with a ton of hype from miscellaneous hardware forums. It comes with aluminum colored heat spreaders. Nicer than the ones on the Corsair but not as pretty as the all copper on the GeIL. It still would like in a windowed case. Its packaged in the same thin plastic package as the Corsair. Which that thin stuff just doesn't make me feel comfortable holding my one or two hundred dollar memory.
