Since this is gamer’s memory, makes sense to test some games with it. First up will be Doom 3.
Doom 3
The game is pretty demanding of the whole system, not just the graphics card. All the lighting is done in real time which put burden on the memory and CPU.
Counter-Strike: Source
This is the ever popular Counter Strike game based on the new source engine. The Source engine is also used in Half Life 2, so results here should as reflect results in Half Life 2.
Far Cry
The last game and my favorite is Far Cry. The graphics are demanding, but the rest of the system isn’t left unused.
