    OCZ Booster - Set Up

I wouldn’t tell you what to do with the memory after you put it in, but this is a little trickier. On initial boot up, just do what you do normally, going into whatever OS you use. The DDR Booster should initialize, and within a few minutes should read the correct voltage that is going into the memory from the board. If it does not read correctly, you will need to recalibrate it.

Recalibrating it is easy. Under the LED read out there is a tiny dial that can be tuned with a screw driver. Adjust it until the volts on the read out is the same as what the board is giving the memory. Once this is done, it is time to reboot.

This time go into the BIOS. From here, with the DDR Booster reading the same volts as the BIOS, slowly move the dial on the Booster to the desired voltage displays on the LED. I wouldn’t recommend you set it higher then what OCZ has published about the board. Reboot and go back into your OS; this time, the LED read out should be what you set it to. You can check it in a software program, but remember they could be off.
