Same pattern here. By increasing the FSB to 450, we only gained 26 points. By keeping the FSB at 434, and setting the memory more aggressively we netted 387 points. Just something to think about when tweaking your system.

    3DMark 2003 Pro

With 3D03, by tweaking the timings at 434, the increase is not as great, but it is an increase we did not see by pushing the FSB to 450.

    Conclusion

Judging by this stick, and various other users in the online community, Kingston has released some kick ass memory here. If you take your time finding the sweet spot in overclocking, you will not be disappointed with this memory. Even if you just want to ramp up your FSB to make your friends "oooh and ahhh" the HyperX 3500 will not disappoint. While I had a real tough time trying to find a downside to this memory, the only thing I would knock it for would be the SPD settings of 2-4-4-8. As soon as you get your hands dirty in the BIOS that is quickly an afterthought. Definitely add the HyperX 3500 to your short list of performance memory.

    Pros

    1. Kingston name and lifetime warranty

    2. 450MHz @CAS2

    3. Aluminum heat spreader

    4. Competitively priced (compared to same speed/size/quality)

    5. Great performance and stability all around

    Cons

    1. Very relaxed timings

The Kingston HyperX PC3500 gets the editors choice award for unbelievable performance on the nForce2 chipset running in sync mode.
