Cruzer Micro Flash Drive Review - Summary
(Page 4 of 4 )
Personal electronics that are nice and light are a good thing obviously, but this drive is so light I had to keep checking that it was still in my pocket. And not only is it almost unbearably light, it also feels quite flimsy and delicate. Some consumer electronics seem to have an inherent solidness to them, like they were built to last. This is not one of those things and only time will tell whether it manages to survive for any reasonable length of time.
The light is another feature that personally I don't like; it's too big, it's too bright and it's just unnecessary; a simple LED would have been more than sufficient. I often use a USB drive at work and the only accessible USB ports are on the side of my monitor. Having what can easily be mistaken for some kind of homing beacon sticking out of the side of my screen is not conducive to stealthy file transfers! To give you an idea of just how bright the light is, I took the following shot of it while it was connected, with the flash on my camera turned off:

Other than these two minor points, however (which may not even be a problem for you anyway), the drive is everything you could want in a USB flash drive; it performs very well, it comes with the latest features, it looks sleek and professional and is very, very reasonably priced, giving you great value for money and an excellent product. Here's a brief summary of the pros and cons:
