Crucial PC3200 Memory Review - FutureMark Tests
(Page 5 of 10 )
PCMark2002
PCMark2002 is one of the two major synthetic benchmarks coming from FutureMark. While it is a bit dated, it is still very relevant to measure overall performance of a computer's video, CPU, memory, and disk subsystems.

Infineon RAM holds a 3.5% lead over Crucial RAM. By now, falling behind by 10%, I have shown that using one stick of RAM is a useless comparison. The dual channel capabilities hold a significant advantage.
3DMark2001 SE
3DMark2001 SE, also released by FutureMark, is system dependent enough to warrant its inclusion here, even though it is a graphics test.

This result was somewhat surprising, and I ran it twice to confirm. I wasn't expecting to see Crucial RAM perform better than my Infineon RAM, especially since there was less actual physical memory available to the computer. Nevertheless, I will have to give Crucial credit for doing well in this test.
