Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC4000 2x512MB - Unreal Tournament 2003
(Page 6 of 8 )
Here we finish with real world gaming benchmarks. As with Sandra this test was run with an older version of Unreal Tournament to match previous benchmarks. This is of relatively little concern since there is only a slight performance difference between Unreal Tournament 2003 and Unreal Tournament 2004.

It is nice to see the theoretical benchmarks correlate so well to a real world test. The two Crucial Ballistix modules perform indistinguishably from each other, with the competitor's modules in their normal positions.

The higher latencies when running at PC4000 again rear their ugly head. Even though the difference in scores is slight, it appears low latency, low frequency performs as well as the PC4000 with relaxed timings. As with the other tests I reran the Crucial Ballistx Tracer at PC3200 speed with tighter timings and the results were nearly identical to the Ballistix PC3200.
