Crucial Ballistix PC3200 2x512MB Memory Review - 3DMark, UT2K3
(Page 6 of 8 )
3DMark01
While 3DMark01 was originally a video card test, video cards have become so powerful that the benchmark is CPU/memory limited and has become primarily a benchmark of system performance. 3DMark01 is also based on the same game engine as Max Payne, therefore giving a strong indication of the improvement that could be gained in DirectX 8 games.

The Crucial Ballistix PC3200 is slightly behind Corsair PC3200XL here but by nothing more than a variance between runs.

With the higher CPU frequency, the Ballistix sticks move slightly ahead.
Unreal Tournament 2003

The Crucial Ballistix is performing slightly better than the others in Unreal Tournament 2003. The lead over the other PC3200 modules may not be that significant, but it does perform almost 7 frames per second faster than the higher latency PC4400.

Crucial's Ballistix manages to maintain a small lead here.
