In the first set of tests, the PC3200 XL takes a nice lead over the TwinX PC4400. In the second set of tests, The TwinX PC4400 surpassed the PC3200 XL with an over 400MB/s lead once the front side bus speed had been raised.
AIDA32
Again, in the first set of tests, the PC3200 XL got a good lead over the TwinX PC4400 thanks to its tighter timings. And like the SiSoft Sandra tests, the TwinX PC4400 overpowered the PC3200 XL when the front side bus speed was raised to 250MHz. The PC4400 has a 500MB/s lead reading the memory and over 100MB/s for write operations. It will be interesting to see how the PC3200 XL can perform in less synthetic benchmarks.
