XG Laser 2500 Review (Page 1 of 5 )
When you are dealing with computers you can't help but relate companies to the products they make. You mention operating systems, you think of Microsoft; you mention video and NVIDIA comes to mind. Well with some of the recent accessories and components XG has been debuting, they are becoming THE word in gaming equipment. Today we will be checking out their latest mouse, the Laser 2500.

Keep in mind, this isn't any regular mouse. It boasts five buttons, all programmable, and six different levels of accuracy.
Speaking of accuracy, this is what XG has to say about their mouse:
Accuracy has always been a highly sought feature in mice by every gamer. The new XG Laser 2500 mouse now will give the gamer just that. With an accuracy level of up to 2500 DPI, the Laser 2500 mouse is perfect for first person shooter games and many others that require a steady hand and split second reactions. Although XG realizes that the DPI is not always best at the maximum DPI level. In order to overcome this problem, the Laser 2500 mouse now has an integrated 6 DPI switch button allowing the user to alter between 600, 800, 1200, 1600, 2000, and 2500 DPI. With the XG Laser 2500 mouse, gamers now have the XG advantage in every game they play.

As you can see, the packaging is nice and clean, and it is in an easily opening clam shell. You will also notice the first thing that really jumps at you is the shifting display that shows how you can go from 600 to 2500 DPI in just a few clicks.

Here is a closeup of the image showing you the DPI shifts available. It also shows you the color coding that the mouse uses to display your current level.
