Nyko Air Flo Game Pad Review - The Air Flo Design
(Page 2 of 6 )
What separates this and the rest of Nyko’s game pads from others is the patented Air Flo design.
In the center of the back is the main intake for the fan that gives this controller its name. There is also a small warning written there letting you know that the opening must be kept clear. That shouldn't be a problem because there is no way to hold this controller comfortably and cover that hole at all.

The handles protruding from the main body of the controller have rubber grips on both sides. The rubber addition to the handles shows that Nyko is aiming to help gamers keep their grip when they get into intense gaming situations. Had it only been plastic on the handles, the Air Flo design wouldn’t have worked as well as it does.
The rubber grips have square shaped holes to let the air circulate. The smaller pin holes also allow a lesser amount of air to be pushed out. The same goes for the smaller holes on the back. The blue switch in the center of the controller just under the words Air Flo is used to control the fan.
