    I just signed up for VOIP with Packet8 and so far it's been great especially considering the low price of only $20/month (use signup code "Henry" for startup fee discount). Kazaa's new service however is much more software based and looks a bit like MSN Messenger.

    "The idea of Skype is to have a self-maintaining network of users, who can communicate with each other by voice just as they would communicate using an instant messenger program like ICQ. Distance and location are irrelevant as long as you are connected to the Internet."
